Activities to launch the Standards and Guidelines

To mark the launch of the INQAAHE ISGs, a series of activities were carried out. The events unfolded as follows:

UNESCO WHEC 2022: ISGs were first presented as a knowledge product at the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference in May 2022.
INQAAHE Forum 2022 in Mexico: ISGs were officially announced at the INQAAHE Forum 2022. January 2023 was announced as the official launch for the ISGs, and June 2023 will mark a complete move to the new ISGs.
A Global Webinar on November 30, 2022: A webinar with the developers of the ISGs was organized to introduce the new standards and guidelines and the benefits of the revised approach.
A Global Webinar with lead Tertiary Education lead experts on January 24, 2023: INQAAHE organized a series of webinars and other awareness raising and capacity building events to equip the global tertiary education community with the essentials for success in their application in the benefit of tertiary education systems at large.
ISGs at CHEA/CIQG: A panel discussion to present the ISGs at the CHEA/CIQG Conference on January 24-26, 2023.
Trainings on the ISGs: Based on group or individual requests from QA providers throughout November 2022 and 2023.

International Standards and Guidelines (ISGs):
towards diversification, relevance, transformation, and recognition

INQAAHE welcomed the global tertiary education community to the webinar on the content, benefits, and implementation of the new International Standards and Guidelines for Tertiary Education Quality Assurance (ISGs) that took place on November 30, 2022, at hour 13:00 – 14:30 UTC. A free session, opened to every tertiary education organization, institutions, quality assurance provider or individuals that have an interest in QA in HE.

International Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (ISGs): A Global Perspective and Benefits

INQAAHE welcomed the global tertiary education community to this INQAAHE Talks session led by Tertiary Education global experts. The webinar was a unique opportunity to reflect on the changing paradigm of tertiary education and the role of the INQAAHE new International Standards and Guidelines for Tertiary Education Quality Assurance (ISGs). This was a free session, open to every tertiary education organization, institutions, quality assurance provider or individuals that had an interest in QA in HE.
