Following on the General Assembly Meeting held in Astana (Kazakhstan) during INQAAHE Conference 2023, on May 31, the General Assembly was asked to vote on necessary elements for the correct operationalization of the Network. From June 9 to June 21, 2023, an online voting system was set up and the General Assembly was invited to vote on the following topics:
- Minutes of General Assembly meetings held in 2022:
- GAM 1 on May 25, 2022
- GAM 2 on June 8, 2022
- Annual Report 2022 (which also includes the Financial Statements 2022)
- Revised 2023 and 2024 budgets, and budget 2025
- Strategic Plan 2023-2027
- Membership fee update
- Preferred proposal to host INQAAHE Conference 2025:
- Council on Higher Education, CHE (South Africa)
- National Commission for Evaluation and Accreditation, CONEAU (Argentina)
- Japan University Accreditation Association, JUAA (Japan)
The election was closed on June 21, 2023 at 23:59 CEST (UTC+2) with 39% participation rate. Details on the results are available in the following two documents:
Therefore, based on these results, the INQAAHE Annual Report 2022, INQAAHE Financial Statements 2022, INQAAHE Budgets, and the minutes of the General Assembly meetings held in 2022 were approved by the General Assembly. The membership also approved the Strategic Plan 2023-2027 and a change on the membership fees for the following years. Also, INQAAHE’s General Assembly chose Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA)’s proposal to host INQAAHE Conference 2025 in Tokyo (Japan).
